Texas – A 58-year-old man has been condemned to live in jail for sexually abusing five kids over a two-year period at his spouse’s daycare.

Dennis Ray Avery of Waxahachie was sentenced Thursday after earlier pleading embarrassed to five counts of serious sexual attack on a child.

The victims were all under the age of 6 and attended the home-based daycare said Prosecutors south of Dallas say Ellis County authorities.

Earlier in the week, Avery chose to have the jury control his sentence. After two days of evidence and testimony, it returned the life sentence.
